For those who don’t know Kenshi is a game you can essentially play on pause so perfectly suited to this very high latency format. I came across the steam link app and thought “why not let this game run my life completely, even when I can’t be around my laptop? I surely have nothing better to do.” So I set out to get this working. So in the last year I have found myself hopelessly addicted to a little pc game called Kenshi, it quickly surpassed all other titles in total play hours. * Keep your iOS device within a reasonable range of your router * Connect your iOS device to the 5GHz band of your WiFi network
* Connect your computer using Ethernet to your 5Ghz WiFi router * iOS device must be on the same local network as the computer running Steam * Computer running Steam - Windows, Windows, or Linux * iPhone or iPad using iOS 11.0 or higher Just pair an MFI or Steam controller to your device, connect to a computer running Steam on the same local network, and start playing your existing Steam games. What does Steam Link do? The Steam Link app brings desktop gaming to your iPhone or iPad. Controller doesn't work in the app despite it saying it's connected.
People expecting the app to do something it wasn't meant to. Can be used to benchmark a system from a different location. Very slight lag, but it isn't noticeable when using the mouse to aim and look around.
Does a great job of streaming Steam games from a gaming PC to a Mac.
